Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 July 2026 · GDPR, UK GDPR & US state privacy laws where applicable

1. Information we collect

To help you complete applications we collect the profile information you provide — such as legal name, date of birth, address, contact details, employment and income information, tax-residency status, and the banks you have used before. We also collect app usage and device information needed to operate the service and to run anti-abuse checks on rewards.

2. How we use it

We use your information to estimate eligibility, build and sequence your route, guide you through opening each account and completing each switch, automate the money movements you consent to, and track requirements and deadlines. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sensitive identity data

Highly sensitive identity data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and where possible is handled through specialist, regulated identity-verification providers rather than stored by us. Final identity verification is completed by you with each bank.

4. Bank credentials

BonusRoute never stores your online-banking login credentials. Where a secure connection to an account is needed, it is made through an approved provider using tokenised access that you can revoke at any time.

5. Sharing

We share the minimum information necessary with the bank you choose to apply to, and with verification or payment providers acting on our behalf under contract. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your data, and to object or withdraw consent. You can exercise these in-app or by contacting us. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

7. Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

8. International transfers

Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and process data in line with the laws of your market.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@bonusroute.example. Region-specific contact details for our data protection representatives are provided in your local privacy addendum.
